Tunku's vision of Malaysia was of a nation that is shaped and strengthened by the diversity of its people. He believed in building a Malaysian society that uplifts all, regardless of colour or creed.
In honour of this vision, the Tunku Abdul Rahman Foundation was initially set up in 1966 to provide financial assistance to youths so that they could pursue higher education.
Since 2019, the Foundation has expanded its work to further Tunku's legacy. We now empower and develop youth from under-represented backgrounds to become leaders of themselves, their communities, and the nation.
Our Programmes
In order to build Malaysia's next generation of leaders, we believe that we must develop and support our youth at 3 crucial milestones. Through our programmes, we hope that our youths will not only achieve personal success, but also contribute positive change to their own communities and society.
