Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

YTAR adopts a zero-tolerance policy against all forms of bribery and corruption. This commitment is rooted in our core values and extends to everyone connected to YTAR, from staff, trustees and committee members to scholars, alumni, and our partners.

Our approach is grounded in the
T.R.U.S.T. principles recommended by Malaysia’s anti-corruption framework:

Child Protection Policy

At YTAR, we are committed to ensuring that all children and young people are provided with a safe and secure environment in which to develop and thrive. We uphold a zero-tolerance policy on abuse and exploitation, and and require all staff, mentors, volunteers, and partners to uphold the highest safeguarding standards.

Our policy prioritises:

  • Training all participants on appropriate conduct and safeguarding protocols.

  • Preventing harm through adhering to practices that minimise risk.

  • Reporting concerns promptly to ensure timely intervention. 

  • Responding swiftly and focusing on the child’s best interest.

Privacy Notice

At YTAR, we are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010. We collect, use, store, and disclose personal information responsibly for purposes such as programme applications, communications, and service improvement.

Whistleblower Policy

At YTAR, we are committed to upholding a culture of integrity, accountability, and transparency. We encourage individuals within and outside the organisation to report misconduct. 

We ensure that all reports are treated with the highest level of confidentiality. No form of retaliation or retribution will be tolerated against anyone who submits a report or complaint in good faith.

Reports can be made through: 

  • Direct email to YTAR’s CEO or designated senior management

  • Secure messaging platforms or web forms on YTAR’s official website

  • Confidential verbal or written disclosures to trusted individuals within the YTAR community

Anti Harassment Policy

At YTAR, we are committed in ensuring the ensure a safe and inclusive environment across all of Tunku Abdul Rahman Foundation’s (YTAR) work free from intimidation, hostility or harassment. This policy intends to provide an up-to-date and comprehensive anti-harassment framework for the YTAR community.

 

This policy is also intended for public use as well as use by the YTAR team, to provide a shared framework to prevent harassment and address behaviour that goes against our standards of conduct.

Accountability doesn’t end here. At YTAR, we are committed to continuously reviewing, improving, and introducing policy practices that stay aligned with the evolving needs of our community. If you have any feedback or suggestions, we welcome you to reach out to us.
